I'm Öykü,
nice to meet you.
My name is Öykü Aydınhan. I am a postgraduate student who lives in Poznan. Before I moved to Poland to do product design master, I was living in Ä°zmir, Turkey. I got my bachelor's degree from Izmir University of Economics in Industrial Design field and did a minor program in Public Relations & Advertising. Then, I decided to develop myself in the academic side thus I have completed my educational journey at Uniwersytet Artystyczny w Poznaniu last year.
As a product designer, I can call myself empathy-driven. Questioning how people engage or interact with products, how products will be part of their life etc. is tempting me. To put it simply, I am more on how they will have an experience with the product.

To cut long story short, my interest in UX started with Innovative Design Strategies class. I had an intention to be condensed about this field with a master's degree. But, sometimes, life gives you (no lemon anymore) a new path to explore so that I came across packaging design and get back on the road with this.

UX design was always at the back of my mind, although it showed up not digitally in my designs. But I always looking for a use of UX principles on tangible products. When I had finished my journey at the college, I recognized that I still have a curiosity about the UX field, which meant that it was time to say hi again. Not everything is the same in the sector since I graduated from bachelor's degree, it is quite improved and branched. Anyway, I have a passion to join this game again and I will try my chance. Therefore, I decided to train myself by taking certificates, doing practices, and attending webinars starting from 2020.
Value & Motivations
1> 0
It could seem flat-out but works on me. When I glance over what I do today, seeing that I have completed something motivates me for the next day. It is my mathematically proven TED talk for myself.
Small steps everyday
It sounds really cliché. Anyway, I believe that consistency brings something it is as a supporter 1>0.

Being out of comfort zone
Maybe it is not a motivation, mostly a challenge for me. On the other hand, it is a way that gaining value in life. I realize that living in a foreign country improves my acceptance and adaptability. I like to find myself constantly learning something new even in daily life.
Wishing Value
Commitment & Professionalism
I am a junior UX designer in training. I am willing to work under the umbrella of an institution to keep learning and gain experience. Also, I regard to be part of a team and achieve something together.
